Cisco blogs about iPhone lawsuit January 11, 2007

Yes, you read that right, Cisco is taking a very legal action, some say an American right, and blogging about it. You can see it here.

I can’t help but wonder what the legal counsel at Cisco thinks about this practice. Are comments posted to a corporate blog admissible in court?

According to some people, the lawsuit was not a surprise for Apple as they should have expected it. What is likely is that Cisco simply wanted to keep Apple on their toes and under pressure to conclude negotiations for the right to use the Cisco-owned trademark, iPhone.

Interesting, if not a little bit crazy.
