Less than a week after Google shows the world their new spreadsheet application, they come out with a little game that competes with Microsoft's Minesweeper.

Now, there is no business reason for Google Labs to develop this particular game, since most computers sold are purchased with the Windows operating system and each Windows operating system comes with Minesweeper. So, the only conclusion is that Google is playing with Microsoft. They are like a cat playing with a mouse. Well, that's appropriate, since the game requires the use of a mouse to play.
